  • I don't understand what is the relationship between climate change and animals suffer
This virtual reality digital content shows the vision of a beaver (our climate change ambassador), not humans, of how they are affected by climate change and global warming. But climate change doesn't just happen in nature all of a sudden. Climate change and global warming occur due to man's mishandling of the planet, the lack of awareness of his actions and the lack of projection into the future. Our content invites reflection and debates about what animals feel and live every day with the changes on the planet. We want children, young people and adults to be able to be a beaver in virtual reality and put themselves in nature's shoes to take action. Climate change and animals suffer are closely linked because the changing climate is having a significant impact on animal populations and their habitats. The effects of climate change include rising temperatures, changing weather patterns, melting ice caps, and rising sea levels, which are all having negative consequences for many species of animals. One of the most significant ways that climate change is affecting animals is by changing their habitats. As temperatures rise, animals are forced to migrate to new areas in search of suitable habitat and food. This can lead to overcrowding in certain areas and cause competition for resources, which can lead to a decline in population sizes. The changing climate is also affecting the timing of seasonal events, such as breeding and migration patterns, which can have a negative impact on animal populations. For example, some species of birds are migrating earlier or later than usual, which can cause them to miss out on important food sources or nesting opportunities. Additionally, climate change is affecting the availability and quality of food sources for many animals. For example, changes in ocean temperatures are causing changes in the distribution and abundance of fish populations, which can have a negative impact on marine mammals, such as seals and whales, that rely on these fish for food. Overall, climate change is having a significant impact on animal populations and their habitats, leading to suffering and potential extinction for many species. It is important that we take action to mitigate the effects of climate change and protect animal populations from further harm.
  • Why can a beaver teach climate change with virtual reality?
Using a beaver to teach climate change with virtual reality can be an effective approach because it can help people develop an emotional connection to the topic. Beavers are a familiar and relatable animal to many people, and by using them in a virtual reality setting, it allows individuals to interact with the beaver and see the impact that climate change is having on their habitat and survival. Humans are often more motivated to take action when they feel emotionally invested in a cause, and using a beaver in a virtual reality experience can create that emotional connection. Seeing the beaver struggling to find food or maintain its dam due to the effects of climate change can help people understand the real-world impact of climate change in a more tangible way. Additionally, virtual reality allows individuals to experience and interact with scenarios that they may not otherwise have access to, such as exploring a beaver's habitat or witnessing the impact of climate change on the environment. This immersive experience can help people understand the complexities of climate change in a more meaningful way and inspire them to take action to protect the planet. Overall, using a beaver in a virtual reality experience to teach about climate change can be an effective approach because it combines emotional connection with immersive experiences to increase understanding and inspire action.

  • Which letter was made by Justin Beaver to humans for saving the world and using virtual reality for it?
Dear Humans, I introduce myself, my name is Justin Beaver. As a beaver, I have seen firsthand the devastating effects of climate change on our environment. Our habitats are being destroyed, our food sources are disappearing, and our very existence is threatened. But I believe that there is hope. I believe that we can work together to save our world and create a more sustainable future. One way that we can do this is through the use of virtual reality technology. My team and I have been working hard to create a virtual reality simulation that allows humans to experience the world from a beaver's perspective. By doing so, we hope to help humans better understand the importance of preserving our environment and the crucial role that beavers play in maintaining the health of our ecosystems. Virtual reality technology has the power to transport humans to places that they might never have been able to visit otherwise. It can allow humans to experience the beauty of nature, to understand the impact that their actions have on the environment, and to see firsthand the devastating effects of climate change. It can also help to inspire humans to take action to protect our planet and create a more sustainable future for all living beings. But we need your help. We need humans to embrace this technology and use it to educate themselves and others about the urgent need to take action against climate change. We need humans to recognize the critical role that beavers and other animals play in maintaining the health of our ecosystems, and to work to protect our habitats and food sources. Together, we can make a difference. We can create a world where humans and animals can live in harmony, where the environment is preserved for future generations, and where sustainability is the norm rather than the exception. So please, join us in this mission. Embrace virtual reality technology and use it to save our world. Sincerely, JUSTIN BEAVER A Hopeful Beaver
  • Do you have your own educational platform?

  • How did the idea of Justin Beaver come about?
Justin Beaver was born in the laboratories of doctoral research at Tilburg University in the Netherlands. The research was carried out by Alexandra Sierra Rativa, who is now a doctor in Cognitive Sciences and Artificial Intelligence. She is a Colombian who received a scholarship from the Ministry of Science in Colombia, and she went to the Netherlands to do her PhD in 2018. Alexandra Sierra researched for more than six years how to create empathy and engagement towards virtual animals in virtual reality, computer games and videos. If you want to read the complete investigation, you can go to www.alexandrasierra.nl. Later, Alexandra Sierra wanted to carry out research into a product that would teach values about caring for the planet to the general public, and there she joined a wonderful team that has supported her in creating each Justin Beaver product and innovation. She wants every Justin Beaver product to be accessible to everyone and creates a great social impact to support initiatives on climate change and empathy for animals, sustainability in business, corporate social responsibility, green marketing, and green tech. The first VR Simulation of Justin Beaver was inspired in the De Biesbosch National Park in the Netherlands. Beavers are important in the Netherlands because they play a critical role in the ecosystem by creating wetlands and maintaining biodiversity. Historically, beavers were present in the Netherlands, but they were hunted to extinction in the 19th century. In recent years, beavers have been reintroduced to the country, and their presence has had a positive impact on the environment. Beavers are known for their ability to build dams and create wetlands, which helps to regulate water levels and improve water quality. Wetlands are important habitats for a variety of plant and animal species, and they can also help to reduce flooding and erosion. In addition to their role in creating wetlands, beavers also contribute to biodiversity by creating new habitats for other species. The trees and shrubs that beavers use to build their dams and lodges provide food and shelter for a variety of animals, including birds, insects, and fish. Furthermore, beavers are a keystone species, which means that their presence has a disproportionate impact on the ecosystem compared to other species. By creating wetlands and changing the landscape, beavers can create new opportunities for other species to thrive. Overall, the reintroduction of beavers in the Netherlands has been an important step in restoring and maintaining the country's ecosystem. The beavers' ability to create wetlands, provide habitats for other species, and regulate water levels makes them a valuable and important species in the Netherlands.
  • What is the relationship between sustainability, climate change, education and VR?
Sustainability and climate change are important considerations for virtual reality (VR) technology because VR can be used as a tool for education and awareness-raising about sustainability and climate change. By immersing users in virtual environments that simulate the impacts of climate change on our planet from an animal perspective. In the future, we desire that new generation consider the benefits of sustainable practices, and VR can help to increase understanding and engagement with these issues. It is important to consider this VR digital content can promote sustainability debates and raise awareness about climate change.
  • How can Justin Beaver teach the effects of climate change in schools or educational institutions?
Justin Beaver was created by teachers and researchers for teachers. We have a multidisciplinary team between technology experts in the Netherlands, Colombia and Brazil. Each level of the video game will have an educational guide where students can learn by playing, reading, creating, and reflecting. With this video game and the educational guides, we want to encourage the 4 skills of the 21st century: Creativity, Communication, Collaboration and Critical Thinking. We will stimulate students' curiosity about nature and its problems (e.g., plastic pollution in rivers, deforestation of forests, forest fires, domino effect on animals and plants, illegal hunting, increased extinction of certain animal species, water pollution, water scarcity, migration speed of animals, etc.) playfully and educationally. Justin Beaver VR Climate Change Educational Experience can be an excellent tool for teaching the effects of climate change in schools or educational institutions. By using this technology, educators can create an immersive and interactive learning experience that can help students better understand the impact of climate change on the environment and the crucial role that beavers and other animals play in maintaining ecosystem health. Here are some ways that beaver virtual reality can be used in schools or educational institutions: Virtual field trips: Schools and educational institutions can use virtual reality to take students on virtual field trips to beaver habitats. This can allow students to experience beaver behavior and habitat firsthand, which can help to create a deeper understanding of the important role that beavers play in maintaining ecosystem health. Interactive learning experiences: Virtual reality can be used to create interactive learning experiences that allow students to explore different aspects of beaver behavior and ecosystem health. For example, students could use virtual reality to explore how beaver dams can mitigate the effects of floods, or how beavers help to regulate water flow and prevent erosion. Climate change simulations: Virtual reality can be used to create simulations that show the effects of climate change on the environment and the role that beavers play in mitigating those effects. Students can explore how climate change impacts water availability and quality, vegetation growth, and wildlife populations, and learn how beavers help to maintain the balance of these ecosystems. Collaborative projects: Schools and educational institutions can use Justin Beaver virtual reality as a collaborative project, allowing students to work together to create their own virtual reality experiences that teach others about the impact of climate change and the importance of ecosystem health. By using beaver virtual reality in schools and educational institutions, educators can create an engaging and interactive learning experience that can help students better understand the impact of climate change and inspire them to take action to protect the environment.
